Categories you can enter (36 classes across 4 groups)
Moustaches (01–06): Natural, Dali, English, Imperial, Hungarian, Freestyle
Partial Beards — chin, cheek & sideburns (07–16): Goatee Natural (under/over 20cm), Sideburns Natural, Alaskan Whaler, Fu Manchu, Musketeer, Imperial Partial Beard, Goatee Freestyle, Cheekbeard Freestyle, Sideburns Freestyle
Full Beards (17–30): Natural (graded by length), Natural 60+, Natural with styled moustache (under/over 15cm), Verdi, Garibaldi, Business Beard, Barber Style, Freestyle
Craft & Creative (31–36): Realistic Moustache, Realistic Partial Beard, Realistic Full Beard, Realistic Freestyle Beard, Creative Moustache, Creative Beard
Good to know
- Registration and category verification happens on competition day within the published check-in window — the entry fee must be settled by then at the latest.
- Classes marked “no aids” (e.g. Natural styles) mean no wax, gel, spray or dye from pre-judging until the end of competition — breaking this results in disqualification.
- By registering, competitors accept the WBMA’s participation conditions, including unrestricted use of photos, video and audio from the event.
- Every real beard/moustache wearer is welcome, club membership isn’t required.
